VISA Letters 2025 & 2026 - Available Soon

To assist with travel documentation, World Dairy Expo will gladly write an official letter of invitation. In many cases this type of letter is required to obtain a temporary travel visa to the United States. Please note, this letter is not a guarantee for admittance into the United States, though it can provide compelling evidence for officials to consider. International Registration - 2025 Available Soon

To take full advantage of all international guest special features at World Dairy Expo, pre-register online, or once on-grounds at the event, register at the International Registration Desk, in the Exhibition Hall's east-west corridor near the Mendota 5-7 meeting rooms.

Information for Travelers Who Come Into Contact With Animals:
U.S. citizens and international visitors who visit a farm or make contact with live animals in another country can unknowingly spread potentially devastating animal diseases. 

Before entering the United States, travelers should:

1. Launder all clothing worn at the farm or while in contact with animals,
2. Remove any dirt or debris from shoes, equipment, or other articles before packing them,
3. Shower or bathe, wash hair, clean fingernails, and clear nasal passages (blow nose).
4. Declare to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials that they have been in close proximity to livestock before entering the United States.

Animal disease outbreaks occur regularly all over the world, and travelers may not know when an outbreak has occurred. Some animal diseases (such as foot-and-mouth disease, avian or swine influenza, African horse sickness, and many other serious conditions of livestock and other animals) can survive and remain infectious for up to a week on clothing, shoes, and other items. The diseases, while they may not affect people, can also be carried on skin, hair, under fingernails, and in nasal passages. In addition, pets–such as dogs, cats, birds, and other small animals–can carry these diseases without showing any signs of illness.

International Registration Desk: Receive exclusive offers only available to international attendees.

International Lounge: A place to relax, network and conduct business for companies and organizations that serve the international dairy market. An international pin and ribbon are required to enter this space.

Interpreters: Expo interpreters are available to assist with directions, show information and business transactions at the International Registration Desk. The Expo Interpreters are fluent in Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

International Reception: Join us to celebrate the global dairy industry on Thursday, October 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Mendota 1-4 of the Exhibition Hall. All registered international attendees and commercial exhibitors are invited to the free reception. *Red country ribbon or company namebadge is required upon entry.
