Fourth Grand for Zora in the International Junior Milking Shorthorn Show

MADISON, WIS. – Out of the 114 animals entered in the 2025 International Junior Milking Shorthorn Show, Heavenly Zora-ET, owned by Dillon Freeman, of Bremen, Ind., was awarded Grand Champion of the Junior Show after claiming Senior Champion honors. Zora will also receive the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show. Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand Champion honors went Halpins Trip Crown Roulette-ET, owned by Owen & Colt Halpin and Bailey Broers of Halpin Farms, Buckingham, Ill.

The winning junior of the Senior Two-Year-Old Class, Redwillow Wild Storm-ET, was chosen as the Intermediate Champion. She is owned by Lars Dropik and Lanna Walter of Sauk Centre, Minn. Lazy M Liam Alligator, owned by Cael, Chase & Caden Cannon from Dyersville, Iowa, was tapped for Reserve Intermediate Champion. She was the winning cow of the Yearling Heifer in Milk Class.

The winning Fall Yearling Heifer, Lazy M Money Laundering-ET P, was tapped for Junior Champion. Money is owned by Elizabeth Gunst & Jamie Gibbs of Hartford Wis. Reserve Junior Champion went to the winning Spring Yearling Heifer, Wincrest P Spring Special-EXP-ET, owned by Dylan & Cameron Ryan and Charlotte Wingert of Fond du Lac, Wis.

Official judge, Mike Maier of Stitzer, Wis., and associate judge, Josh Fairbanks of Anamosa, Iowa, evaluated the 114 junior Milking Shorthorn entries.
